Face Friday: Night at the #HerParty

FF-HerTHLast night, I was fortunate enough to be invited to the Her Party, organised to celebrate Her.ie doing so well and being so fabulous. I wasn’t directly invited, but I was invited by someone who was invited. Either way I was there, and had to look good for it, as there would be so many other lovely looking women (and quite a few good looking guys) there too.

  • Primer: GOSH – Velvet Touch Line Perfector
  • Primer: Benefit – The Porefessional (used on nose)
  • Foundation: Maybelline – Fit Me Foundation (125 – Nude Beige)
  • Concealer: Benefit – FakeUp (Light)
  • Bronzer: Wet n Wild – Coloricon Bronzer (Ticket to Brazil)
  • Blush: Wet n Wild – Coloricon Blusher (E832E – Heather Silk)
  • Powder: 17 – Loose Powder (translucent)

  • Brows: Benefit – Brow Zings (Medium)
  • Shadow: Benefit – Creaseless Cream Shadow (Foiled – From Eye Gotta palette – used as base)
  • Shadow: MAC – Eye Shadow (Trax – all over lid)
  • Shadow: Sleek – i-Divine Celestial Palette (Stargaze – to brow bone)
  • Liner: Wet n Wild – Coloricon Glitter Single (Binge)
  • Mascara: No. 7 – Fanomonal Lashes Mascara (black)
  • Lashes: Eyelure – Naturalites (Superfull 083)

  • Stain: Revlon – Colourburst Lacquer Balm (150 – Enticing)

  • Blank Canvas – F20 – Foundation
  • Blank Canvas – F03 – Powder
  • Real Techniques – Pointed Foundation Brush – Bronzer (contour)
  • Real Techniques – Multi Task Brush – Blush
  • Blank Canvas – E32 – Cream Shadow
  • Blank Canvas – E24 – MAC Shadow
  • Royal & Langnickel – Silk C260 Taklon Shadow – Sleek Shadow & blending like hell
  • Ecotools – Angled liner brush – Brow Zings Wax
  • Blank Canvas – E30 (brush end) – Brow Zings Powder

Couple of notes: The lashes didn’t survive 5 minutes outside, so they were removed before I got there, and saved instead of losing them completely. Will have to superglue them on, or get proper extensions next time.

The WnW liner didn’t work too well, and didn’t really add anything to it. Will have to try it on it’s own next time, as I think the MAC shadow overpowered it.

Those minor issues aside, and aside from being in heels all night, it was an amazing evening and I hope my skills with the warpaint lived up to expectations. What do you think of my efforts, and if you were there, the night itself?

Hi Robyn, I’m not a blogger but love make up and beauty and have recently gotten into reading blogs, especially yours. I think your make up looks fab in these shots and you look really happy and beautiful. Keep writing the blog, I love it!

    • Hi Gill,

The blog isn’t just for bloggers, so I’m glad you found it and are enjoying reading it. I’m so happy you like the look. I had great fun doing it.

  • I have blusher envy, you’re so good at applying it!

    • This one is so pigmented I could (and almost did) end up with serious Bosco cheeks! I find the trick is a fairly light hand and blend like mad!

You look beautiful, and you’re rocking that lip colour!

Go on, talk to me. I don't bite!
